Milcit-M Tablet is a combination medication containing Levocetirizine (5mg) and Montelukast (10mg) designed to provide effective relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis and asthma. The Levocetirizine component exhibits antihistamine properties, thereby reducing histamine-induced responses such as itching, sneezing, and runny nose. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, inhibits the production of leukotrienes, potent mediators of inflammation and bronchoconstriction. This dual-action combination allows for comprehensive management of allergic rhinitis and asthma symptoms, including nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and coughing. Additionally, Milcit-M Tablet may also reduce the risk of bronchospasm, thus providing improved lung function and overall respiratory well-being. The tablet is easily administered orally, once daily, and is suitable for patients aged 6 years and above. As a prescription-only medication, Milcit-M Tablet requires medical consultation and approval prior to use.
