Microshield 4% Surgical Handwash is effective against a variety of organisms, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE), and Clostridium difficile. Its antimicrobial properties are maintained even in the presence of organic matter and are not affected by washing with soap and water. The product is also non-irritating and non-stinging, making it suitable for use on intact skin, including the hands, arms, and faces of healthcare professionals.
