Hydroquinone acts as a skin-lightening agent by inhibiting tyrosinase, thereby reducing melanin synthesis and effectively managing conditions such as melasma, freckles, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Mometasone Furoate, a potent corticosteroid, provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, which help reduce redness, swelling, and irritation associated with inflammatory skin conditions. Tretinoin, a retinoid derivative, promotes epidermal cell turnover and collagen synthesis, aiding in the improvement of skin texture and enhancing the penetration of hydroquinone. The combination of these active ingredients offers a synergistic approach to treating pigmentary disorders while controlling inflammation and promoting skin renewal. Metasone Plus Cream should be applied once daily to the affected areas, preferably at night, under medical supervision.
