Meladate Tablet

The tablet should be administered orally, preferably 30 minutes before bedtime, to facilitate the onset of sleep. Meladate is generally well tolerated, with minimal adverse effects; however, some patients may experience mild headaches, dizziness, or daytime drowsiness. It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to melatonin or any component of the formulation. Caution is advised when used concomitantly with sedatives, anticoagulants, or immunosuppressants due to potential drug interactions.

Meladate is not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation without medical supervision. Patients with autoimmune disorders or epilepsy should consult a healthcare professional before use. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Always follow the prescribed dosage and consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
