Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, facilitates gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastric discomfort. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and peptic ulcers. The synergistic action of these two agents addresses both the symptomatic and pathophysiological aspects of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders, enhancing therapeutic efficacy.
