Manpil 100mg Tablet contains Sildenafil citrate, a potent phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult males. Sildenafil enhances erectile function by selectively inhibiting PDE5, an enzyme responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the corpus cavernosum. This inhibition leads to increased levels of cGMP, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation, thereby facilitating penile erection in response to sexual stimulation.

Manpil 100mg is typically administered orally, approximately 30 to 60 minutes before anticipated sexual activity, with effects lasting up to four hours. The tablet should not be taken more than once daily. It is contraindicated in patients using nitrates or nitric oxide donors due to the risk of significant hypotension. Caution is advised in individuals with cardiovascular disease, hepatic or renal impairment, and those on concomitant medications that may interact with Sildenafil.
Common adverse effects include headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, and visual disturbances, which are generally mild and transient. Manpil 100mg should be used under medical supervision to ensure appropriate dosing and to monitor for potential side effects or drug interactions.
