Magpot MPS Oral Suspension is a combination antacid formulation containing Magaldrate 400 mg and Simethicone 20 mg per dose, designed for the symptomatic relief of gastrointestinal disturbances associated with hyperacidity and gas. Magaldrate, an aluminum and magnesium hydroxide complex, acts by neutralizing excess gastric acid, thereby increasing gastric pH and providing rapid relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, and dyspepsia. Simethicone, an anti-foaming agent, reduces bloating and discomfort caused by excessive gas accumulation by facilitating the coalescence and elimination of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. Magpot MPS is indicated for the management of conditions such as gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux, and flatulence.
