Magnatuss T Syrup is a combination antitussive and antihistamine formulation containing Codeine phosphate (10 mg) and Triprolidine hydrochloride (1.25 mg) per 5 ml. Triprolidine, a first-generation antihistamine, exhibits anticholinergic and sedative properties, alleviating allergic symptoms such as nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, and sneezing commonly associated with upper respiratory tract infections.

Magnatuss T Syrup should be administered with caution in patients with respiratory depression, asthma, or hypersensitivity to any component. It is contraindicated in children under 12 years and in patients using monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
