M Lanz 30mg Capsule contains Lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce gastric acid secretion. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection when used in combination with appropriate antibiotics. Lansoprazole acts by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, thereby suppressing basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion.
