Lysone Dermal Cream contains Mometasone 0.1% w/w, a potent synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It is indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergic reactions. Mometasone exerts its effect by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and itching associated with skin conditions.

Lysone Dermal Cream is intended for external use only and should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Prolonged use or application over large surface areas should be avoided to minimize the risk of systemic absorption and potential corticosteroid-related adverse effects, including skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis suppression.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone or any component of the formulation. Caution is advised when using on infected skin or in pediatric populations. Patients should be advised to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinuation should be gradual to prevent rebound symptoms. Lysone Dermal Cream offers an effective therapeutic option for managing inflammatory dermatoses requiring corticosteroid intervention.
