Lupilax 5mg is administered orally, with onset of action generally occurring within 6 to 12 hours. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded to avoid adverse effects such as abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and electrolyte imbalance. It is contraindicated in patients with intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal conditions, or hypersensitivity to bisacodyl. Caution is advised in patients with dehydration, electrolyte disturbances, or inflammatory bowel disease.
Prolonged use is not recommended due to the risk of dependence and potential worsening of constipation. Patients should maintain adequate hydration while using Lupilax 5mg. Consultation with a healthcare professional is advised if symptoms persist beyond one week or if severe abdominal pain or rectal bleeding occurs. Lupilax 5mg should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
