Betamethasone, a potent corticosteroid, exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, thereby reducing erythema, swelling, and itching associated with various skin conditions. Gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, provides broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against gram-negative and some gram-positive organisms, effectively targeting secondary bacterial infections. Miconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent, inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, offering therapeutic efficacy against dermatophytes, yeasts, and other fungal pathogens.
