Lupicet Tablet provides rapid onset of action with minimal sedation compared to first-generation antihistamines, making it suitable for daytime use. The standard adult dosage is one tablet once daily, which may be adjusted based on clinical response and patient tolerance. Cetirizine is generally well-tolerated; however, potential side effects include headache, dry mouth, fatigue, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any of its components. Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, and dosage adjustments may be necessary.
