Lulimac XL Cream contains Luliconazole 1% w/w, a potent antifungal agent belonging to the imidazole class, indicated for the topical treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin. Luliconazole exhibits broad-spectrum activity against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds by inhibiting the fungal cytochrome P450-dependent enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, thereby disrupting ergosterol synthesis essential for fungal cell membrane integrity.

This mechanism results in fungistatic and fungicidal effects, effectively resolving infections such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, and candidiasis. Lulimac XL Cream is formulated for once-daily application, promoting patient compliance and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. Clinical studies demonstrate significant improvement in symptoms including erythema, scaling, and pruritus within a short duration of treatment, typically 1 to 2 weeks.
The cream is well tolerated with minimal local adverse reactions such as mild burning or irritation. Lulimac XL Cream should be applied to the affected area and surrounding skin after cleansing and drying, avoiding contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be under medical supervision. This topical antifungal is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to luliconazole or any formulation excipients.
