Luliconazole belongs to the imidazole class of antifungals and exerts its effect by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to increased membrane permeability and fungal cell death. This cream is primarily used for conditions such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis. Lulibrut Cream is applied topically once daily to the affected area and surrounding skin, typically for a duration of 2 to 4 weeks depending on the severity and type of infection. It is well tolerated with minimal systemic absorption, reducing the risk of systemic side effects. Common adverse reactions may include mild local irritation, burning sensation, or erythema at the application site.
