Carboxymethylcellulose acts as a lubricant and tear substitute, enhancing tear film stability and providing prolonged moisture retention on the ocular surface, thereby reducing discomfort associated with dryness, burning, and foreign body sensation. The inclusion of Oxychloro Complex, a mild antiseptic agent, offers antimicrobial protection by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi, contributing to the maintenance of ocular hygiene and prevention of secondary infections. Lubistar 1% Eye Drop is indicated for symptomatic relief in conditions such as dry eye syndrome, exposure keratopathy, and minor irritations caused by environmental factors or contact lens wear.
