This combination is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and hyperkeratotic skin disorders, including psoriasis, eczema, lichen planus, and resistant dermatoses characterized by thickened, scaly plaques. Clobetasol exerts strong anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and antiproliferative effects by inhibiting multiple inflammatory cytokines and mediators, thereby reducing erythema, edema, and pruritus. Salicylic Acid facilitates the softening and removal of hyperkeratotic scales, enhancing the penetration of Clobetasol into the affected skin layers. Lozivate-S Ointment should be applied sparingly to the affected areas once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, and treatment duration should be limited to avoid potential adverse effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, or systemic corticosteroid absorption.
