Clobetasone (0.05% w/w)
Active composition
Medical applications
Lozee Cream contains Clobetasone 0.05% w/w, a moderately potent topical corticosteroid used for the treatment of various inflammatory and pruritic dermatological conditions. Clobetasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators and suppressing immune responses in the skin. Lozee Cream is indicated for the management of eczema, dermatitis, allergic reactions, and other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. It is particularly effective in reducing redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with these conditions. The cream formulation facilitates easy application and absorption into the affected skin areas. Lozee Cream should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, and treatment duration should be limited to avoid potential adverse effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, or systemic absorption. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clobetasone or any component of the formulation, and caution is advised when used on large surface areas or broken skin. Use in pediatric patients should be under strict medical supervision. Patients should avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes and discontinue use if irritation or sensitization occurs.
How to use Lozee Cream This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
