Lorfast-AM Tablet

Loratadine, a second-generation antihistamine, selectively antagonizes peripheral H1 histamine receptors, reducing allergic manifestations such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itching without causing significant sedation. Lorfast-AM is indicated for the symptomatic management of conditions like allergic rhinitis, chronic bronchitis with mucus hypersecretion, and other upper respiratory tract disorders where both mucus clearance and allergy relief are required.

The combination ensures simultaneous targeting of both mucus viscosity and histamine-mediated allergic responses, promoting enhanced patient comfort and respiratory function. It is generally well tolerated; however, caution is advised in patients with known hypersensitivity to either component. Dosage should be as prescribed by a healthcare professional, considering individual patient needs and clinical response.

Lorfast-AM Tablet should be used with care in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, and concomitant use with other sedatives or CNS depressants should be monitored.
