Lorfast-AM Syrup

Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant, facilitating the loosening and thinning of mucus in the airways, thereby promoting productive cough and easing expectoration. Ambroxol, a mucolytic agent, enhances mucociliary clearance by breaking down mucus viscosity, further aiding in the removal of secretions from the respiratory tract. This synergistic combination is particularly beneficial in managing upper respiratory tract infections, allergic rhinitis with associated cough, and bronchitis with mucus hypersecretion.

Lorfast-AM Syrup is indicated for use in both adults and children above the age of two years, under medical supervision. The formulation is generally well-tolerated; however, patients should be monitored for potential adverse effects such as gastrointestinal disturbances or hypersensitivity reactions. It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any component and should be used cautiously in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
