Longdep 30 is typically administered orally, approximately 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity, with a recommended dose of 30 mg, which may be adjusted based on efficacy and tolerability. It is important to note that Longdep 30 is not intended for continuous daily use but rather as needed prior to sexual intercourse. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine or any component of the formulation, concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), thioridazine, or other serotonergic drugs due to the risk of serotonin syndrome.
Caution is advised in patients with cardiovascular disorders, hepatic or renal impairment, and those with a history of psychiatric illness. Common adverse effects include nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea. Patients should consult a healthcare professional before initiating therapy to ensure appropriate use and to discuss potential drug interactions and contraindications.
