Locoid Lotion

Locoid Lotion is formulated for easy application to affected areas, providing rapid symptomatic relief while minimizing systemic absorption when used as directed. It is typically applied in a thin layer to the affected skin once or twice daily, with treatment duration depending on the severity and response of the condition. Caution is advised to avoid use on infected skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes, and prolonged use should be avoided to reduce the risk of local side effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, or secondary infections.

Locoid Lotion should be used under medical supervision, especially in pediatric and elderly populations, to ensure appropriate dosing and monitoring. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any formulation excipients.
