Livopill UD is indicated for the management of primary biliary cholangitis, intrahepatic cholestasis, and certain cases of chronic liver diseases where bile flow is impaired. It is also utilized to prevent the formation of cholesterol gallstones in high-risk patients. The tablet should be administered orally, typically once or twice daily, with dosage adjusted according to the patient’s condition and response to therapy.
Common side effects may include gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, or abdominal discomfort, which are generally mild and transient. Caution is advised in patients with biliary obstruction or acute inflammation of the gallbladder.
