Liplor 20 Tablet

Liplor 20 is indicated for primary hyperlipidemia, familial hypercholesterolemia, and for the prevention of cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients. It is often prescribed alongside lifestyle modifications such as diet, exercise, and weight control to optimize lipid management. The tablet should be administered once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day to maintain consistent plasma levels.

Patients should be monitored periodically for liver function tests and creatine kinase levels to detect potential adverse effects such as hepatotoxicity or myopathy. Common side effects may include headache, myalgia, abdominal pain, and nausea. Liplor 20 is contraindicated in patients with active liver disease, pregnancy, or hypersensitivity to Rosuvastatin. Caution is advised when used concomitantly with other lipid-lowering agents or drugs affecting cytochrome P450 enzymes.
