Lipirose-AS 10 Capsule is a combination medication containing Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Aspirin 75 mg, formulated for the management of cardiovascular risk factors. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), thereby reducing the risk of atherosclerosis and related cardiovascular events. Aspirin, an antiplatelet agent, irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), leading to decreased thromboxane A2 production and inhibition of platelet aggregation, which helps prevent thrombus formation. Lipirose-AS 10 is indicated for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, stroke, and transient ischemic attacks, especially in patients with dyslipidemia and increased thrombotic risk.
