Aspirin, an antiplatelet agent, irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), thereby reducing thromboxane A2 production and platelet aggregation, which helps prevent arterial thrombosis.

Atorvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels and exerts pleiotropic effects including improving endothelial function and stabilizing atherosclerotic plaques. Clopidogrel, a thienopyridine antiplatelet agent, selectively inhibits the ADP receptor on platelet surfaces, preventing platelet activation and aggregation.
The combination of these agents provides a synergistic effect in reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and other atherothrombotic events in patients with established cardiovascular disease or those at high risk. Lipikind-Plus 20 Capsule is indicated for secondary prevention following acute coronary syndrome, ischemic stroke, or peripheral arterial disease. It should be used under medical supervision, considering potential contraindications such as bleeding disorders, hypersensitivity, and hepatic impairment.
