Liator-CV Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Atorvastatin 10 mg and Clopidogrel 75 mg, designed for the management of cardiovascular conditions. Atorvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), thereby reducing the risk of atherosclerotic plaque formation. Clopidogrel, an antiplatelet agent, irreversibly inhibits the P2Y12 component of ADP receptors on platelet surfaces, preventing platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. This dual-action capsule is indicated for patients at high risk of cardiovascular events, including those with a history of myocardial infarction, stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease. The combination therapy enhances cardiovascular protection by addressing both lipid abnormalities and platelet activation pathways. Liator-CV Capsule should be administered once daily, preferably at the same time each day, with or without food. Caution is advised in patients with hepatic impairment, bleeding disorders, or those concurrently receiving anticoagulants or other antiplatelet agents.
