It is primarily eliminated unchanged via renal excretion; hence, dose adjustments may be necessary in patients with impaired renal function.

Common adverse effects include somnolence, dizziness, fatigue, and behavioral changes such as irritability or agitation, which typically diminish with continued use. Caution is advised in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders or suicidal ideation. Levroxa should be used under strict medical supervision, with regular monitoring to assess therapeutic efficacy and tolerability.

Patients are advised not to discontinue therapy abruptly to avoid increased seizure risk. This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Levetiracetam or any of its excipients.
