Lentris is indicated for patients with progressive, radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer and as first-line treatment in combination with everolimus for advanced renal cell carcinoma following one prior anti-angiogenic therapy. The recommended dosage is 10 mg orally once daily, with adjustments based on patient tolerance and adverse effects. Common adverse reactions include hypertension, fatigue, diarrhea, decreased appetite, and proteinuria, necessitating regular monitoring of blood pressure, liver function, and renal parameters during therapy.
