Lee Dott Capsule

Lee Dott Capsule is indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhea in both adults and children, promoting faster recovery and improving patient comfort. The medication is generally well tolerated, with a low incidence of adverse effects, which may include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea or abdominal discomfort. It is important to maintain adequate hydration during treatment, as Racecadotril does not replace fluid and electrolyte loss.

Lee Dott Capsule should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to Racecadotril or any of its excipients. It is contraindicated in chronic diarrhea and in patients with severe dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. As with all antidiarrheal agents, medical consultation is advised if symptoms persist beyond 48 hours or worsen, to rule out underlying infections or other serious conditions.
