It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of partial seizures, generalized tonic-clonic seizures, and seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Additionally, Lamotrigine is used as a mood stabilizer to delay the occurrence of mood episodes in bipolar disorder.
