Timolol, a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, decreases aqueous humor production, while Latanoprost, a prostaglandin F2α analog, increases uveoscleral outflow, providing a complementary mechanism for enhanced IOP control.

This dual-action formulation is particularly beneficial for patients inadequately responsive to monotherapy with either agent. Lacoma T Eye Drop is administered once daily in the affected eye(s), preferably in the evening, to optimize therapeutic efficacy and minimize systemic absorption. Caution is advised in patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as Timolol may induce bronchospasm.
Additionally, Latanoprost may cause ocular side effects including conjunctival hyperemia, eyelash growth, and iris pigmentation changes. Patients should be monitored regularly for intraocular pressure, ocular tolerance, and systemic adverse effects. Lacoma T Eye Drop should be used under strict medical supervision, with adherence to prescribed dosing to achieve optimal glaucoma management and prevent progression of optic nerve damage.
