Ketoconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, inhibits ergosterol synthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity. Clioquinol exhibits antifungal and antibacterial properties, effective against various superficial infections. Tolnaftate is an antifungal that impedes fungal growth by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, thereby preventing ergosterol synthesis. Neomycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, targets susceptible Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis. Clobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid, provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, reducing erythema, swelling, and itching associated with dermatoses. The synergistic combination in Kpderm 5G Cream offers comprehensive management of complex skin infections with inflammatory components, such as tinea, candidiasis, bacterial superinfections, and eczema with secondary infection.
