Zinc Pyrithione possesses antibacterial and antifungal properties, effectively reducing scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. The combined action of these active ingredients offers a broad-spectrum approach to controlling Malassezia species and other fungal pathogens implicated in scalp disorders. Kozol ZP Shampoo is indicated for the treatment of dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and other superficial fungal infections of the scalp.
It is applied topically by massaging onto the wet scalp, allowing adequate contact time before rinsing thoroughly.
