Kozol Lotion

Kozol Lotion is primarily used in the management of dermatophytosis, pityriasis versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis, and candidiasis affecting the skin. The lotion formulation allows for easy application and absorption, providing targeted antifungal activity with minimal systemic exposure. It is typically applied once or twice daily to the affected area after cleansing and drying the skin, with the duration of treatment varying depending on the severity and type of infection, usually ranging from two to four weeks.

Patients should avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes during application. Adverse effects are generally mild and may include local irritation, burning sensation, or erythema at the site of application. Kozol Lotion should be used with caution in individuals with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or other imidazole antifungals. It is contraindicated in patients with open wounds or extensive skin damage.
