Kinpride Tablet contains Cinitapride 1 mg, a prokinetic agent used primarily to enhance gastrointestinal motility. Kinpride is indicated for the treatment of functional dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and other conditions associated with delayed gastric emptying or impaired motility such as gastroparesis.

It helps alleviate symptoms including nausea, vomiting, bloating, and abdominal discomfort by promoting coordinated contractions in the stomach and intestines. The tablet is generally well-tolerated; however, it should be used with caution in patients with a history of extrapyramidal disorders or hypersensitivity to the drug. Common adverse effects may include mild diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and dizziness.
Kinpride is contraindicated in patients with mechanical gastrointestinal obstruction, perforation, or hemorrhage. Dosage should be individualized based on clinical response and patient tolerance, typically administered before meals to optimize gastrointestinal motility. As with all prokinetic agents, monitoring for neurological side effects is advised during prolonged therapy.
