Ketoconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, inhibits ergosterol synthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity. Clioquinol exhibits antifungal and antibacterial properties, enhancing the spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Tolnaftate acts as an antifungal agent effective against dermatophytes by impairing fungal cell membrane synthesis. Neomycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, targets susceptible bacterial pathogens by inhibiting protein synthesis, thereby preventing secondary bacterial infections. Clobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid, provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, reducing erythema, swelling, and discomfort associated with dermatoses. Kinoline-Plus Cream is indicated for dermatophytoses, candidiasis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema with secondary infection, and other mixed dermal infections requiring combined antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory therapy.
