Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent, targets a broad spectrum of dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, essential for fungal cell membrane integrity. The combination of these active ingredients makes Ketoziva Cream effective in managing mixed infections where inflammation and fungal proliferation coexist, such as seborrheic dermatitis, tinea infections with secondary inflammation, and other superficial mycoses complicated by inflammatory responses.
It is intended for topical application only and should be used as directed by a healthcare professional. Prolonged use or application on large body areas should be avoided to minimize potential corticosteroid-related adverse effects, including skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and systemic absorption.
