Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent, exerts its effect by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting fungal growth and proliferation.

Zinc Pyrithione possesses antibacterial and antifungal properties, contributing to the reduction of scalp inflammation and flaking. The combined action of these active ingredients effectively controls the symptoms associated with fungal infections and scalp irritation, promoting scalp health and restoring the natural balance of the skin flora. Ketoved Shampoo is suitable for use in adults and children over the age of two and is typically applied two to three times weekly, with the shampoo left on the scalp for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
