Ketovate Tablet is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogenic fungi such as Candida species, Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is typically administered orally, with dosage and duration tailored according to the severity and type of infection. Patients should adhere strictly to the prescribed regimen to ensure optimal efficacy and minimize the risk of resistance development.
Ketovate is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or other azole antifungals. Caution is advised in patients with hepatic impairment due to the potential for hepatotoxicity; liver function tests should be monitored periodically during treatment.
