Zinc Pyrithione exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, including antifungal and antibacterial effects, and is effective in reducing inflammation and scaling associated with dermatological conditions. The combination of these active ingredients provides a synergistic effect, making Ketofine Lotion effective against dermatophytes, yeasts such as Malassezia species, and other pathogenic fungi responsible for conditions like tinea versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis, and pityriasis capitis. Ketofine Lotion is applied topically to the affected area once or twice daily as directed by a healthcare professional.
