This lotion is indicated for the treatment of superficial mycoses such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, and seborrheic dermatitis caused by Malassezia species. Keto Lotion is applied once or twice daily to the affected area after cleansing and drying the skin, and treatment duration typically ranges from two to four weeks depending on the severity and type of infection. Patients should avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes, and in case of accidental exposure, the area should be rinsed thoroughly with water. Adverse effects are generally mild and may include local irritation, burning sensation, or itching at the application site. Keto Lotion should be used with caution in individuals with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or any of the lotion’s excipients.
