The topical formulation allows for targeted application, minimizing systemic absorption and associated side effects. It is recommended to apply the lotion to the affected area once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the infection, and to continue treatment for at least two weeks or as directed by a healthcare professional to prevent recurrence.
