This combination is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by fungal infections, such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and seborrheic dermatitis. Beclometasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by modulating the release of inflammatory mediators and suppressing immune responses, thereby reducing erythema, swelling, and itching. Ketoconazole acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to increased membrane permeability and fungal cell death. The synergistic action of these agents provides rapid symptomatic relief while effectively eradicating fungal pathogens. Kenozole-B Cream should be applied thinly to the affected area twice daily, with the duration of therapy tailored to clinical response, typically not exceeding two weeks to minimize corticosteroid-related adverse effects.
