Kami Tablet contains a combination of Etizolam 0.5 mg and Escitalopram Oxalate 10 mg, formulated for the management of anxiety disorders and depression. Etizolam, a thienodiazepine derivative, exhibits anxiolytic, sedative, and muscle-relaxant properties by modulating the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor complex, thereby producing a calming effect on the central nervous system. Escitalopram Oxalate, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), increases serotonin levels in the brain by inhibiting its reabsorption into presynaptic cells, which helps alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. The combined action of these agents provides symptomatic relief in patients with generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and major depressive disorder, enhancing mood and reducing anxiety. Kami Tablet should be used under medical supervision, with dosage tailored to individual patient needs. Caution is advised in patients with a history of substance abuse, hepatic or renal impairment, and those concurrently using other central nervous system depressants. Common adverse effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided to prevent withdrawal symptoms. This medication is contraindicated in pregnancy, lactation, and in patients with hypersensitivity to its components.
