Jmpento-DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30mg and Pantoprazole 40mg, indicated for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby reducing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related mucosal damage and promoting ulcer healing. The synergistic action of these two agents addresses both the underlying hyperacidity and impaired motility contributing to symptomatic relief and improved patient outcomes. Jmpento-DSR Capsule is typically administered orally once daily, preferably before meals, and should be used under medical supervision, especially in patients with hepatic impairment or those taking concomitant medications that may interact with either component.
