Jekrab-DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30 mg and Rabeprazole 20 mg, designed for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid peptic disorders, and related gastrointestinal conditions. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, facilitates gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastric discomfort. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), effectively suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief. The synergistic action of these agents provides comprehensive management of acid-related disorders by reducing gastric acidity and enhancing gastrointestinal motility. Jekrab-DSR is indicated for patients experiencing symptoms of GERD, erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and functional dyspepsia.
