Isozole-DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30 mg and Esomeprazole 40 mg, indicated for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and related acid-peptic disorders. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief. The synergistic action of these agents provides effective control of acid reflux and improves gastric motility, offering symptomatic relief and mucosal protection. Isozole-DSR is typically administered orally once daily, preferably before meals, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response.
