Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief. The synergistic action of these agents provides effective control of acid reflux and improves gastric motility, offering symptomatic relief and mucosal protection.
