Isojol Tablet contains Inosine pranobex 500 mg, an immunomodulatory and antiviral agent indicated for the treatment of viral infections and immune system support. Inosine pranobex enhances the body's immune response by stimulating both cellular and humoral immunity, promoting the proliferation of lymphocytes and increasing the production of cytokines such as interferons. It is primarily used in the management of herpes simplex virus infections, including recurrent herpes labialis and genital herpes, as well as other viral conditions like subacute sclerosing panencephalitis and respiratory tract infections.

Isojol Tablet is administered orally and is generally well tolerated, with adverse effects being mild and infrequent, including gastrointestinal disturbances and allergic reactions. Dosage should be individualized based on the severity of the infection and patient response, under medical supervision. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to inosine pranobex or any of the tablet excipients.
