Intisert 50 Tablet

Intisert 50 is indicated for adults and should be administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Common side effects may include nausea, insomnia, dry mouth, dizziness, and sexual dysfunction, which typically diminish over time.

Patients should be monitored for any signs of worsening depression, suicidal ideation, or unusual behavioral changes, especially during the initial treatment phase. Intisert 50 should be used cautiously in patients with a history of bipolar disorder, seizures, or liver impairment. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided to prevent withdrawal symptoms; instead, dose tapering under medical guidance is advised.

Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or other serotonergic agents is contraindicated due to the risk of serotonin syndrome.
